Vivaldi 4 Season

20/01/2018
8:15 pm - 9:45 pm

Price: R200
Book

Vivaldi enthusiasts are urged not to miss this performance of one of the world’s all-time memorable and famous classical pieces, by the best in local talent. The entire 4 concertos are performed. The original work did not have music scores for accordion and bass, but audiences will be surprised by this tremendously refreshing new transformation complimented with poems, read by Schalk Joubert, which Vivaldi had in mind whilst composing the Four Season Concerto. This amply demonstrates the distinctive nature of Vivaldi’s artistry.
The Original score will be played by World Cafe Trio with Piet de Beer on Violin, Stanislav Angelov on accordion & Schalk Joubert on Bass Guitar.

This show will also mark the Stellenbosch CD Launch of their new CD “Vivaldi Four Seasons” which will be available for sale after the show.

During second half of the show they will take you on journey performing some famous film scores, arranged for this trio.

A festive offering by Nataniël, this show is the perfect event with which to say farewell to a heavy year and welcome what will hopefully be a time of progress and greater peace of mind.

Discriminated against throughout their careers, they have become immortal and inspirational, the real leaders for generations of thinkers and lovers of life.

REIGN OR SHINE also features stories in Afrikaans and English, is light hearted, stubborn and fantastical, written and performed by a proud anti-politics stage artist. He is joined by Charl du Plessis (piano), Juan Oosthuizen, (guitar), Werner Spies (bass) and Peter Auret (drums).
