Hailed as the Prince of the Saxophone, acclaimed saxophonist, Andrew Young, and his band will perform once again at the Oude Libertas Amphitheatre on Sunday 10 December.
The show is an eclectic mix of blues and rock ‘n roll, including Andrew’s unique performances of Watermelon Man, Georgia and Baker Street which have become the most requested songs of his repertoire.
Born in Liverpool, England and now residing in Vienna, Austria, Andrew performs across the globe to audiences as far afield as China and the Far East, Africa, The Caribbean and South America, and Europe.
Sharing the stage with South African artists like Joseph Shabalala of Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Jonathan Butler, as well as international stars like Shakatak, Shirley Bassey, Dionne Warwick, Matt Bianco and Precious Wilson Band, Andrew has captivated audiences with his melodic sounds. Andrew promises it to be an awesome show with some great music played by fantastic musicians, both local and international.
Andrew’s special guest in this Show is Rock Hall Of Fame and guitar legend Jethro Butow.
