Kulibiev, a student of Pierre Amoyal at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, saw his chamber music CD win a Gramophone best album award last December. He will be accompanied by the CPO and Martin Panteleev, former chief conductor of the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, who will then direct the First Symphony by Tchaikovsky, known as “Winter Dreams”.
